The Karen Trust

The trust were thrilled to receive a lovely message from Said and his family:

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to The Karen Trust for supporting and making a weekend trip to CenterParcs possivle for me and my family and allowing us to spend a pleasant time together. Without your kind support I would not be able to enjoy such a trip with lasting memories. Another lovely message from a patient at Keech Hospice Care in Luton who we assisted in arranging her wedding!

"Dear All, thank you so much for the help you gave to me. I feel privilidged to have received such a gift. It was really lovely to meet you all and I really hope Karen would approve. I will contact you again after the wedding along with photos. I keep saying, "I" thank you, but so of course, does John. With Love Marie."

With the help of the donation The Trust made, the family are planning a holiday in Orlando, Florida.

The generous support that you give The Karen Trust enables us in turn to support some lovely people and help them create special memories. We are proud to share some of their stories with you.

In March 2012 The Trust were delighted to support young Bailey.  Bailey met with Ian Wright ex England and Arsenal player and a kind patron of The Trust.  Bailey had a fantastic time telling mum Becki:

                             "Mum this has been one of my best  days". 

Bailey also mentioned he likes playing racing games on his XBox and that his favourite car was a Ferrari.  So thanks to our supporter Raymond Gill, we were able to arrange a special trip in a nice red one!

Miriam, a mum of two and a patient from Keech Hospice Care in Luton needed help to decorate her new flat so we provided some vouchers. Miriam in turn has very kindly offered us her support in talking to other cancer patients.
